Time in Kansas is winding down but Charles, Sean and Kees have all tagged out. Jeff and Matt back team up starting on day 4 and head back to a location that has been very productive in past years. After seeing several bucks that evening, they make a game plan that will hopefully put them in position to capitalize on the travel patterns in the CRP. “The King” showed himself while he and a younger buck were chasing some does and Jeff and Matt had to put on the running boots to have a shot at taking him. The hunt resulted in a heart pumping, adrenaline filled 10 minutes that allowed Jeff to place his tag on another Kansas Whitetail and gave both Matt and Jeff some memories that will last a lifetime.
Part 2 of our 2017 Kansas trip!!! In this episode, Kees and his brother-in-law Sean team up after he gets to put his tag on a buck that he saw on his first hunt. After hunting hard for 3 day straight, Kees’ luck makes a turn for the better while trying to cut off a few does. With a few young bucks fighting off in the distance, Kees and Sean were able to stalk up to the buck and meet him head on. As Kees will tell you, Buck fever set in hard when he looked through the scope at what could be his first out of state trophy buck. (This is part 2 of our 2017 Kansas trip)
It’s early December and the Kansas rifle season is just getting started. Jeff, Greg, Charlie and Matt all head west to meet with Sean Graese and Kees Stolarczyk for their very first Kansas hunting trip. Sean and Matt teamed up from day one and they were in the mix on every hunt which resulted in an epic stalk for an early morning Kansas whitetail buck.
It”?™s hard for Greg to go any where and not meet a new friend and that”?™s what happened 3 years ago. He met Wes and Ty Mason, a father-son team, at the V7 Ranch and the friendship has continued ever since. With the fall fast approaching in 2017, Wes and Ty both decided to make a return trip to the V7 to chase after their first Mule deer bucks so who else would they call other than their favorite camera man to tag along and film their adventures. Some great times and some not so great times were to be had once again as they traveled back for some new Family Traditions.
It”?”??s mid summer and the NC Cross Trail Outfitters Ultimate Summer Camps have started. Join Jeff as he tags along and gets first hand experience of why these week long camps have been given the name of Ultimate. From deep sea fishing, to skeet shooting, to archery shooting to filleting the catch of the day. These boys have several experiences of a lifetime in just 4 short days on a private island.
